These cake batter blondies are thick, chewy, and perfectly sweet! The batter begins with cake mix, giving the blondies that sweet cake batter flavor. With the addition of other ingredients, these easy homemade blondies are rich, flavorful, and taste just like cake batter!

Ingredients
  • 1 box white cake mix
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp almond extract
  • 1/2 cup sprinkles
  • 1/2 cup white chocolate chips
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350 and spray an 11x7 pan with nonstick cooking spray.*
  2. In a bowl, mix cake mix, egg, melted butter, milk, and vanilla and almond extracts together. The consistency should be very thick.
  3. Once everything is combined, add sprinkles and chocolate chips, and mix until it comes together.
  4. Pour mixture into pan, and bake for 20-25 minutes or until the edges are just turning brown. In my opinion, it's better for blondies to be a little gooey than dry, so as soon as the edges begin to turn golden, take it out and allow it to cool.
Recipe Notes

*When I originally photographed this recipe, I baked these cake batter blondies in 4 mini freeform pans. If you do the same, the bake time is about 19-20 minutes.
