sheet puff pastry
thawed

large apples
thinly sliced (I used honey crisp but granny smith or gala would work as well)

brown sugar

cinnamon sugar

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Unfold puff pastry and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

With a knife, carefully spread butter over the dough, stopping about 1/2 inch from the edge of the dough.

Sprinkle the dough with brown sugar, stopping about 1/2 inch from the edge of the dough.

Place apples over the dough in a line, overlapping as you go (also leaving a 1/2 inch border). Sprinkle the apples with cinnamon sugar.

Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until puff pastry is puffed and golden brown.
