  • 1/4 cup butter (half a stick)
  • 1 10 oz package of marshmallows (big or small)
  • 6 1/2 cup crispy rice cereal
  • 1/2 cup mini marshmallows
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup blue sanding sugar sprinkles
  • 1/4 cup winter "jimmies"
Instructions
  1. In a large pot over low heat, melt butter and 10 oz package of marshmallows, stirring often.
  2. Once the mixture has melted, about 3-4 minutes, add in vanilla extract and stir.
  3. Next, add in cereal, mini marshmallows, and sanding sugar sprinkles. Stir until the mixture is well combined. Allow to cool 3-4 minutes.
  4. With slightly damp hands** take about 1/4 c of the mixture and form into a snowball. Place on wax paper while the rice krispies cool. Repeat until the mixture is gone.
  5. Top with the winter jimmies.
  6. Enjoy!
Recipe Notes

**Having slightly damp hands (not wet) allows you to form the rice krispies without them sticking to your hands. I keep a bowl of water next to me as I work so I can sprinkle water on my hands as needed.
