This pumpkin pie smoothie bowl is the perfect fall recipe! So, it’s mid-September, and I’m just now delivering to you the hallowed pumpkin. I know absence makes the heart grow fonder and all that, but in reality, the main reason why I’ve neglected pumpkin until now is because September has been b-u-s-y with a capital B, and I haven’t had much opportunity to get into the kitchen.

However, after realizing it was going to be September 20th (only 2 days away from fall) and the blog was seriously lacking in the pumpkin department, I made it a priority to get pumpkin on here ASAP. Aren’t you proud of my life goals?? Because I am.

And this easy pumpkin pie smoothie bowl could not be a better choice (totally patting myself on the back for this one 😉). Making breakfast a party one smoothie bowl at a time.

This pumpkin pie smoothie bowl is the perfect fall recipe! Pumpkin puree, pumpkin pie spicealmond milk, bananas, Greek yogurt, and Carnation Breakfast Essentials® Powder are blended together to make a quick breakfast!Smoothie bowls are my latest obsession. For something so pretty, smoothie bowls are probably one of the easiest things to whip up for breakfast.

I’ve probably mentioned this before (in fact, I’m almost positive I have–it was a real shining moment in my career as a student), but in college in my public communications class, I did a persuasive speech on the importance of eating breakfast every morning (and then passed out bags of cereal so that no one would have an excuse to skip breakfast the next morning).

Even though all I was really hoping for was an A with that topic, the truth is, I do believe that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. For the brain and body to stay energized throughout the day, it is necessary to have a well-balanced breakfast. For me, adding in Carnation Breakfast Essentials® Powder is an easy and convenient way to add extra protein and vitamins to any breakfast recipe. For those looking for a lower calorie alternative, you can use Carnation Breakfast Essentials® Light Start™, which has the same great flavor with less sugar.

In fact, it can be a smart idea to stock up on Carnation Breakfast Essentials® Powder, which comes in a variety of flavors, so that you are prepared for breakfast any day of the week, as they taste amazing mixed with milk or as an ingredient in smoothies, smoothie bowls, oatmeal, etc.

This particular recipe is so fun for the fall season, as it really does share the flavors of pumpkin pie. With the almond milk, maple syrup, pumpkin pie spices, Carnation Breakfast Essentials® Powder, it is a guilt-free and protein-packed breakfast that I totally stand behind!

I used to drink Carnation Instant Breakfast (what it used to be called) in high school. I will have to rediscover it!
