Ingredients
Cereal Milk
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup Fruity Pebbles
Fruity Pebble Baked Vanilla Donuts
  • 1 1/4 cups all purpose flour
  • 3/4 cups sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 egg
  • 1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 Tbsp vegetable or canola oil
Cereal Milk Vanilla Glaze
  • 1 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 2-3 Tbsp cereal milk
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
Topping
  • Fruity Pebbles
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees and grease a donut pan well with baking spray.
Cereal Milk
  1. Combine milk and Fruity Pebbles cereal in bowl and let stand for 15-20 minutes.
  2. Strain cereal from milk. Measure out 1/2 cup for the donut batter, reserving the rest for the glaze.
Donuts
  1. Mix flour, sugar, baking powder, nutmeg, and salt together.
  2. Add in the egg, 1/2 cup cereal milk, vanilla extract, and oil. Mix until just combined.
  3. Spoon or pipe the batter into each donut cavity, filling about 3/4 of the way full (you will have enough batter for about 8 donuts).
  4. Bake for Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the donuts are lightly golden and 'spring' back when touched.
  5. Allow to cool for a few minutes, then remove the donuts from the pan and allow them to continue cooling on a wire rack (about 10 minutes).
Cereal Milk Vanilla Glaze
  1. Whisk powdered sugar and 2 Tbsp of cereal milk (using the reserved cereal milk) until combined. Whisk in vanilla extract. If the glaze is still too thick, add in another Tbsp of cereal milk.
  2. Sprinkle donuts with Fruity Pebbles before the glaze hardens, and allow the glaze to set before eating (about 5 minutes).
  3. Enjoy!
