This cake batter frozen yogurt recipe is rich, creamy, and tastes more like ice cream than it does frozen yogurt. This homemade frozen yogurt recipe is the perfect guilt-free summer snack.

  • 2 1/2 cups vanilla greek yogurt
  • 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp almond extract (optional*)
  • 3/4 cup dry cake mix (yellow, white, funfetti)
  • 1/4 cup sugar (optional*)
  • 3/4 cup sprinkles
  1. In a bowl, mix all ingredients together. Once combined, pour into your ice cream maker and follow the manufacturer's instructions. For my Cuisinart, it took about 20-25 minutes to bring this to my desired consistency.
  2. Eat right away, or store in a freezer container for a midnight snack!
Recipe Notes

*I love the flavor of almond extract, but it is not completely necessary.
*For the sugar, if you want to be a little healthier, feel free to leave it out. And, for other healthier options, opt for fat free greek yogurt and fat free cream cheese.
