Preheat oven to 400 degrees and grease a donut pan well with baking spray.
Cereal Milk
-
Combine milk and Fruity Pebbles cereal in bowl and let stand for 15-20 minutes.
-
Strain cereal from milk. Measure out 1/2 cup for the donut batter, reserving the rest for the glaze.
Donuts
-
Mix flour, sugar, baking powder, nutmeg, and salt together.
-
Add in the egg, 1/2 cup cereal milk, vanilla extract, and oil. Mix until just combined.
-
Spoon or pipe the batter into each donut cavity, filling about 3/4 of the way full (you will have enough batter for about 8 donuts).
-
Bake for Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the donuts are lightly golden and 'spring' back when touched.
-
Allow to cool for a few minutes, then remove the donuts from the pan and allow them to continue cooling on a wire rack (about 10 minutes).
Cereal Milk Vanilla Glaze
-
Whisk powdered sugar and 2 Tbsp of cereal milk (using the reserved cereal milk) until combined. Whisk in vanilla extract. If the glaze is still too thick, add in another Tbsp of cereal milk.
-
Sprinkle donuts with Fruity Pebbles before the glaze hardens, and allow the glaze to set before eating (about 5 minutes).
-
Enjoy!
