Chocolate Cheesecake Filling
In a separate bowl, mix cream cheese with cocoa powder and powdered sugar, and mix until combined (you can do this with a mixer or by hand with a rubber spatula). Add in vanilla extract.
Fold half of the whipped cream into the chocolate cheesecake, gently mixing until all the whipped cream has been combined. Set aside.
Crust
Mix graham cracker crumbs and melted butter together. Set aside.
Assembly
Layer your trifle glasses with chocolate cheesecake, graham cracker crumbs, fresh strawberries, and whipped cream. Repeat until glasses are full. Top with a strawberry, if desired.
Chill for at least 2 hours (3-4 hours would be ideal before serving).
Notes
This recipe makes 4 trifles (I used 12oz glasses). If you use smaller glasses, this recipe will stretch further.
